Two weeks ago a massive algae bloom formed off the coast of Qingdao, China, and has now expanded to cover more than 150 square miles. The Chinese government has dispatched a response team consisting of 66 vessels, ten forklifts, and 168 people to collect the algae before it starts to decompose.
