Easy composting in your kitchen

San Francisco based Nature Mill offers a device for indoor composting, making it ideal for small homes and apartments. The appliance is sealed and uses a rechargable carbon filter to eliminate smells, and silently operates on a mere 10 watts of power. The contents are kept at an ideal constant temperature and humidity, and an indicator light notifies you when the compost is ready. The device can accept up to 5lbs of food waste per day, with compost ready for use every 2 weeks.
The finished compost is ready to be added to your garden or bagged for later use. There are no worms, bugs, rodents, smells or drips to deal with. The Nature Mill composter accepts all kitchen scraps including fish, meat and dairy products. If used exclusively for kitchen waste, the Nature Mill could divert 2 tons of high-carbon waste from landfills over it’s lifetime.
